My thyme has flowered and I'd heard that herbs are not edible once they flower? Advice? Should I clip them to encourage new growth? What else do I need to know about maintaining this perrenial? Thanks!

Sure you can eat it. Save seeds to share. Trim for aesthetic reasons and/or to dry for later use. Roots in water
Reply:you can eat it. With herbs once they go to see they wont produce new leaves(which is what you want) clip the blooms to encourage more growth
